Spooky season has arrived!! I love everything about October. The weather finally starts to cool off, the leaves begin to change, and most importantly people are excited. It’s an amazing time of the year.
I soaked up the last moments of the Garden, while everything still had color and was thriving.
I got to spend a lot of time with friends.
I travelled to Athens to visit Carrington! We always have the best time together.
We hung around her apartment, got food, explored the neighborhood, grabbed some pumpkins and went home to carve them!
She treated me like royalty and even fed me breakfast before I had to leave. She’s incredible! :)
As the month went on, we carved some more pumpkins, attended class, planned costumes, and had lunch with Mammy.
For the most part, I stayed in the Garden and kept to myself, either painting or working with flowers.
To prepare for Halloween, I set up a photoshoot to memorialize my costume. I created my interpretation of Sir Elton John.
The costume was stunning! I wore an authenic English hat, a multi colored brown tweed jacket, green YSL trousers, leopard platform shoes, and a vintage bejeweled watch. To top it off I added the most obnoxious orange sunglasses.
On Halloween, we celebrated with some old friends from high school.
Bron and Dani dressed up as Dayman and the Troll from “Always Sunny.”
Ashley joined them as Nightman. They were fantastic! What a wonderful night! We got to catch up with old friends and create new memories.
Their house was stunning!! Every corner was decorated to perfection! I was blown away!
To end the month I hung out with my favorite person and her bassett hound, cherishing the little moments.
