Baby Gee Reveal

November 17, 2024

This event like many others, will remain in my heart forever. I had the special honor of organizing Jesse and Mindy’s gender reveal.

They didn’t have a strong preference for the theme or design, so I presented a few different options. Ultimately, they decided on the theme ‘My Lil Sunshine,’ which was colorful and vibrant, featuring shades of yellow, peach, orange, pastel pink, and royal blue.

Mindy and Jesse were particularly interested in a dry ice reveal. Although I was a little nervous about that, we quickly began researching how to make it a reality.

In the weeks leading up to the event we prepared and gathered everything needed for this amazing gender reveal. We dyed onesies, created graphics, painted the welcome sign and curated the table design. Our goal was to keep the overall feel neutral while incorporating pops of color to maintain a fun atmosphere.

Everything was in order and going perfectly. When the day arrived, we placed the Ultra Balloon Towers, set the tables with cream runners, hung the clothes line, and placed all the decor.

We set the food table with elegant glassware, and a gorgeous wooden platter. It was essential to have the Chantilly cake, and Mindy curated and made the rest of the desserts. sticking with the pink and blue theme that tied everything together beautifully.

As the guests arrived, the atmosphere was perfect. The weather was beautiful, families were present and laughters filled the air..

The suspense was killing everyone. What will Baby Gee be? When everyone could hardly wait any longer, we gathered around the table to begin the reveal.

During my research, I discovered a few different ways to execute the dry ice reveal, and I decided to go with the most intimate approach. This technique allowed Jesse and Mindy to see the color first. By pouring water onto the dry ice, smoke filled the air, and once it cleared, the color in the vase would be revealed.

As we began, Mindy, Jesse and Scarlett each got their own jar. With each pour of water, more smoke flowed from the vase. Once the smoke cleared, a vase full of pink remained.

Everyone screamed,

IT’S A GIRL!!!!!

The pavilion erupted with excitement!! The event went perfectly, and I am beyond thankful to have been a part of such a special day.
