Every year, as far back as I can remember, there have only been a few occasions when I didn’t start the year in church. Each year that begins with this tradition is one I cherish. Nothing compares to the fresh perspective it brings as we step into a new year.
This year, while it began in church as usual, it felt different from years past. The crowd was smaller than normal, but it was refreshing to be surrounded by the people we were meant to be with.
We may not have got snow for Christmas, but we were gifted with some lovely snow flurries to welcome the new year!
The days were cold, and the nights were long. While many struggle during this time of the year, I find a deep sense of peace in the chill of winter.
I spent much of the month enjoying time to myself; it’s always nice to have a little solitude and reflect.
This month we also got to celebrate Miss Clementines birthday!
We wrapped up the month together as a family, cheering on our champions! I couldn’t be more proud of them!
